Cardiology unit with a laboratory of invasive cardiology Since 2006, cardiovascular diseases are treated at Higia Medical Complex through the most modern methods. Patients who have suffered a heart attack or are suffering from angina pectoris or valvular defects receive treatment of the highest level. Together with a catheterization laboratory, coronary angiography, percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA) and stenting are performed at the unit. At the unit of invasive cardiology, diagnostic and intervention medical procedures are carried out, both planned and as emergencies. The unit has a highly qualified team of specialists who perform: diagnostic procedures including left and right heart catheterization, coronary angiographies, aortographies, carotidographies, left and right ventriculographies, intervention procedures (coronary angioplasty combined with intracoronary stenting). The cardiology unit covers all diagnostic and therapeutic procedures paid by the National Health Insurance Fund, it works on a separate schedule and with patients of free admission. |
